Restorative yoga is a quiet, meditative practice.
It is very gentle on the body and requires absolutely no previous knowledge of yoga.
We take our time to find deeply restful versions of yoga asana (poses), allowing space for the body & mind to journey inwards and ease into a restful state.
This can be profoundly supportive and healing for overstimulated nervous systems.
A gentle and supportive restorative yoga classs at Sano Studio in Morningside, Edinburgh.
The class combines a thoughtful mix of gentle yoga inspired movement, breathwork, restorative yoga asana, relaxation techniques and yoga nidra (The Yogic Sleep).
No previous knowledge of yoga required.
